Agreement
By using jnok.co.nz or engaging JNOK for services, you agree to these terms. Specific project work is governed by a separate quote or statement of work that defines scope, price, and timeline.
Services
JNOK provides web development, custom software, and related digital services for New Zealand businesses. Deliverables, timelines, and pricing are confirmed in writing before work begins.
Quotes and payment
- Package prices on this site are indicative; final scope is confirmed in your quote.
- A deposit may be required before work starts, as stated in your quote.
- Remaining balance is due on agreed milestones or before launch, as specified in your quote.
- Late payment may pause work until accounts are settled.
Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate project information and content in reasonable time
- Supply materials (logo, copy, images) you have the right to use
- Review deliverables and provide feedback within agreed timeframes
Delays in content or approvals may shift delivery dates. We will communicate revised timelines promptly.
Revisions and scope
Each package includes defined revision rounds as described on our pricing page. Work outside agreed scope requires a written change request and may incur additional fees.
Intellectual property
Upon full payment, you receive ownership or licence to the agreed deliverables as stated in your project agreement. JNOK may retain the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.
Third-party assets (fonts, stock imagery, plugins) remain subject to their respective licences.
Hosting and third-party services
Where we set up hosting, domains, or third-party tools, you retain ownership of accounts where possible. Ongoing fees for hosting or subscriptions are your responsibility unless included in a care plan.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, JNOK is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the fees paid for that project.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies.
Website use
Content on this site is for general information. We aim to keep it accurate but do not guarantee it is complete or current. Unauthorised use of site content or attempts to disrupt the site are not permitted.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Disputes will be handled in good faith and, if needed, through the courts of New Zealand.
